Come and enjoy a guided walk along the Akerselva river and hear stories about the river's long life.

The researcher and landscape architect Ola Bettum will provide you with an insight into a world along the Akerselva river that is not visible to most people at first glance. He will talk about the growth and decline of plant life along the river's banks and share exciting stories about the river's long, beautiful life.

The walks are part of the programme celebrating 100 years of Norwegian landscape architecture. Europe's first landscape architecture course was established at the former Norwegian Agricultural College (now NMBU) in Ås in 1919.
