Everyone is welcome. The activities will include a bumblebee quiz for the kids, the opportunity to learn about bumblebees and wild flowers, and games with nets.
The flower meadow at Grefsen School is part of a larger project aimed at ensuring there is a network of habitats for bumblebees, other pollinators, and wild flowers across Oslo.
The bumblebee and wild flower school is an ongoing collaborative project between La Humla Suse, the Norwegian Botanical Society, and the Municipal Undertaking for Educational Buildings and Property. The Municipal Undertaking for Educational Buildings and Property administers a large proportion of Oslo's outdoor spaces and is therefore able to make a big difference for bumblebees, wild flowers and the environment in general.
