Welcome to Oslo Pax 2019: A call to action on peace and climate change – inspired by Alfred Nobel and the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Nobel Peace Center is proud to announce the first ever Oslo Pax: An annual peace gathering in Oslo, creating a peacebuilding space the world urgently needs. A summit for action and impact, where young leaders and activists will meet decision-makers, scientists and Nobel Prize laureates, and together produce concrete recommendations to the UN Climate Summit later in September.

Christiana Figueres – the lead United Nations diplomat who oversaw the Paris Agreement process - will chair the Oslo Pax 2019. Among the speakers: Nobel Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman, Cicero’s Director Kristin Halvorsen, Amnesty International’s Secretary General Kumi Naidoo and climate activist Penelope Lea.

Join Oslo Pax 2019 – a unique opportunity to meet decision makers, learn about one of the biggest challenges the world is facing today, and influence the global climate change debate.
