Have you ever wondered how your green and blue bags are sorted? Come along to the open day at Oslo's source separation plant and learn more about how the city facilitate for source sorting and recycling.

Did you know that Oslo has the world's largest optical sorting facility that sorts your waste?

At the waste plant's open day you will learn more about the sorting machine, as well as source separation, recovery, and waste management. You will also get a guided tour of the sorting plant where the green and blue bags are sorted.

There are two guided tours this day. You need to register to assure access to the tour.

The first tour is from 14:00-16:00. Register via this link.

The second tour is from 17:00-19:00. Register via this link.

The open day is basically for everyone, although a lower age limit of five years will be in force. The presentation is for everyone, but unfortunately the guided tour is not suitable for wheelchair users. 30 places are available per guided tour.
