The Great Species Hunt is an annual nationwide community effort that aims to find as many plant, animal, and fungus species as possible in the space of one day. Come along and find as many species as possible!

The Great Species Hunt on World Nature Conservation Day aims to find, identify and register different species of plants, animals or fungi within a set space of time.

The species are registered on the artsobservasjoner.no website meaning that together we can produce a snapshot of Oslo's varied species.

Never taken part before? It is not as difficult as many may perhaps believe. You will quickly learn that some species are easy to recognise.

The Great Species Hunt is fun for both young and old. Sabima is really looking forward to seeing the results of the Great Species Hunt in Oslo!

You can also read about the event on Sabima's website.
