The Øya Festival is Norway's largest music festival and takes place over four days in Tøyenparken in August.

The Øya Festival has for years worked on becoming the world's greenest event through extensive environmental and climate projects within transport, waste management, energy, purchasing, food, and its partners.

The Øya Festival wants to be a role model for other event organisers, businesses, and you as members of the audience. The festival is committed to ensuring that its environmental work is concrete, beneficial, and inspires others to take action. The Øya Festival measures, surveys, and reports its environmental impact and tries to find good solutions to reducing it.
