The cultural environment on Bygdøy in Oslo contains a wide variety of habitats and landscapes with an abundance of well-preserved cultural artefacts. Come and enjoy a guided tour.

Landscape architect Tore Edvard Bergaust will lead the way and tell you more about the settlements that have existed on Bygdøy since the stone age and about the Royal Family's ownership of the peninsula.

The tour is part of the programme celebrating 100 years of Norwegian landscape architecture. Europe's first landscape architecture course was established at the former Norwegian Agricultural College (now NMBU) in Ås in 1919.

You can read more about the tours on NMBU's website.
