The Urban Future Global Conference is for people who work on changing modern cities based on innovation and sustainability. The goal is to learn from each other's experience and use that knowledge to accelerate structural changes in your own city.
The programme consists of exciting national and international voices within urban planning, mobility, resource management, communication, and management. In 2018, 200 introductory speakers spoke to 3,000 delegates from 400 cities.
The conference will be one of the main events during Oslo European Green Capital 2019. It will mark the 10th anniversary of FutureBuilt – a Norwegian programme for the development of climate-neutral buildings and urban areas.
The Urban Future Global Conference was founded by Gerald Babel-Sutter in 2014. Up to now, the conference has been held in Austria. Oslo European Green Capital 2019 will be its first stop as the conference will now move to a new European city every year.
